Diversity pays: On a study of 1,000 companies in 12 countries McKinsey found that companies in the top quartile of ethnic and cultural diversity on their executive teams were 35% more likely to experience above-average profitability than companies in the fourth quartile.
In another study of more than 1,700 companies, the Boston Consulting Group found that companies with above-average diversity in their management teams reported much higher “innovation revenue.”
